About Us

Yolanda and Chelsea Jno Baptiste founded Your Child, Published out of a shared belief in the power of children's creativity, and a personal journey that began decades earlier. As Chelsea's mother, Yolanda recognized her daughter's creative spark early on, typing up Chelsea's imaginative stories and encouraging her to dream of becoming a published author. Chelsea wrote her first book at just fourteen, but the path to publication proved long and confusing, taking mother and daughter several years to navigate without clear guidance. That experience became the foundation for the work they do today.

Now, Yolanda, formerly a teacher and currently a human resources professional, and Chelsea, a published author of fiction and non-fiction, university professor, designer, and alumna of Harvard University, combine their expertise to make the publishing process simple, supportive, and accessible for young writers. Through their hands-on, family-centered approach, they have helped over 47 children become published authors. Together, they empower kids to see their stories as meaningful, their voices as powerful, and themselves as real authors.
